In the Kingdom of Lillith hybrids exist - they are the unlucky ones born with 2 souls under a curse from the gods. The second soul is commonly an animal so one born a hybrid is burdened with the fact that their life could be drastically shortened depending on the animal... or if someone kills them...
Van and Fai, both hybrids, are searching for a way to break them selves and everyone else from the curse but they have no idea how to... the only ones who ever did, died over 400 years ago. So how on earth could those people help them now?
